ANI notice edit

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.-- Cirt (talk) 23:52, 12 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thanks much for the notice--I've replied, and if I flubbed up in my attempt to report, my apologies--it was pretty much my attempt to give a heads-up to what looked like an ongoing abuse issue. :P Dogemperor (talk) 00:16, 13 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

re: If I buggered up the "admin's heads-up" I was trying to send, my apologies. edit

Okay, if that's the case then fine. Just seems odd for user with such sporadic edit contributions on Wikipedia to show up briefly and randomly and make such reports. -- Cirt (talk) 00:16, 13 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

I do understand the concern (which is honestly why I in part do feel bad about it)--in general, I always learned "lurk before you post and post only if you have something useful to contribute" (admittedly, this is stuff I learned before there was a World Wide Web much less a Wikipedia, which I'm sure dates me in Internet years)...I've lurked on here for some time (I'd say...three or four years-ish?) but generally have refrained unless it's to correct something like blatant vandalism or to add info.
(And yes, this is probably a gentle sign I should become more active on here, though in my case it's just a matter of finding articles to work on that honestly do need improvement.) Dogemperor (talk) 00:31, 13 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
