Welcome! edit

Hello, Doengesm, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Hello! edit

Hi, Doengesm -- welcome to Wikipedia! As Ian mentioned, the Teahouse is a great resource for new editors. But did you know that Wikipedia also has an extensive help library for common questions? Of course, if you run into a question or problem, you're always welcome to get in touch with me either by email or on my talk page. Happy editing! Madison Doenges Leading Section Evaluation edit

• The whole section is organized very well. The section talks about the history of the euthanasia, which does not introduce too much information to audiences in the original article. The section gave a clear definition and background in the first paragraph, and the other paragraphs were described in time order. It is easily to read as an audience because different periods of history were labeled clearly. It also introduced different perspectives from different groups such as different religions. In general, the section gave a balance and neutral information. • The whole section is pretty well. My suggestion is giving some facts or cases about euthanasia would be attracted more audiences to read. Another suggestion is the section gave the all of information is Western history of euthanasia, if the section could give more information come from other regions of worlds would be better and different I think. • For the reference, there are two journals are cited four times and two times. It needs to change and organize the citation better.Florabaoxiao (talk) 20:29, 4 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Problematic edits edit

Your additions to the voluntary euthanasia article include passages copied verbatim or nearly verbatim from this source and from Manning's Euthanasia and Physician-Assisted Suicide: Killing or Caring? (as found, for example, here). These were detected by automatic plagiarism detection software. Unfortunately, for copyright reasons, your entire contribution has to be deleted.

Please make sure that you use your own words when contributing to Wikipedia (and when writing in general). If you aren't using your own words, you have to include quotation marks. Please review the student training on plagiarism and copyright violations. Thanks. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 04:20, 22 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
