Hi DocumentingIt! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Kerry babies case that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. 🇺🇲JayCubby✡ plz edit my user pg! Talk 22:59, 18 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Murder of Sinéad Kelly

edit

The article Murder of Sinéad Kelly has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not appear to meet WP:EVENTCRIT for notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — Moriwen (talk) 15:12, 25 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I've expanded on the article by including the media reaction to the murder.
I believe the article has merit and is important because the crime has been connectedby Gardaí to the disappearance of Trevor Deely which has an article. This crime is also one of a pattern as a further crime followed this one
The murder of Sinéad Kelly was mentioned on existing wikipedia articles prior to the creation of my article on it, such as, Disappearance of Trevor Deely, List of major crimes in Ireland, Prostitution in the Republic of Ireland therefore I believe it is important and adds more context to these articles DocumentingIt (talk) 16:23, 25 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
