Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Beard, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Beeblebrox (talk) 19:53, 14 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for telling me I didn't know that was a concern. --Doctorkc (talk) 20:53, 14 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia has a lot of policies/guidelines/etc, so it can be a bit overwhelming when you are starting out. As long as you understand the five core policies that are the basis of the whole thing you should be fine. Beeblebrox (talk) 21:52, 14 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

{{helpme}} I would like to know if it is possible to delete my subpage, as the topic has already been done. Thank you for the time, it has been greatly appreciated --Doctorkc (talk) 10:16, 28 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi Doctorkc,
I guess you are writing about User:Doctorkc/ Famous personalities with beards? It falls under the Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion#U1 criterion, so you can request its deletion by adding {{db-u1}} at the top of it! It should be deleted quickly.
Hope it helps, Calimo (talk) 10:38, 28 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
I have deleted the page User:Doctorkc/ Famous personalities with beards. Next time, blank it and then add {{db-userreq}} to it. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 10:40, 28 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thanks to all for the help. --Doctorkc (talk) 10:50, 28 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 08:11, 28 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

I appreciate the reminder, after all it's only meant to be helpful so thank you very much. --Doctorkc (talk) 08:13, 28 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Talk pages

edit

Please don't rearrange and "concentrate" talk pages. They are a record of a discussion, and need to be preserved in sequence.—Kww(talk) 16:06, 28 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for the correction, I will learn from it. --Doctorkc (talk) 16:34, 28 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
