I think this section definitely needs work, so it is a good choice. My questions are:

  1. What sources do you plan to use here. Remember that the goal is to make use of things emerging from class discussion
  2. Given that, it might be helpful to reflect on whether any of the people we've read would like the focus on community policing as a set of methods. Maybe they would. When Bell, for example, talks about community policing, what does she mean and who does she cite? DoctorKarpiak (talk) 16:07, 16 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

This is a great section to focus on editing. There is a lot of opportunity to expand on these suggestions, which I would find further research/sources that focus on the outcomes of using these methods. It may also be a good idea to contribute your own methods with sources that indicate the effectiveness of the method. However, I might focus on methods that have solid research behind them in order to prove their effectiveness instead of overwhelming readers with too many methods. Hello Group 4,

The article selection you have chosen to edit is especially important to have a more clear understanding on which methods work most effectively. As to which methods were not as effective. I think it is vital to inform the reader how effective or ineffective these common community policing methods are so it builds a stronger sense of foundation to expectations throughout the rest of the article.Zeebazz96 (talk) 16:00, 18 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
