If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. A third option is to ask a more experienced user such as an administrator.

One last bit of advice: please sign any discussion comment with four tildes (~~~~). The software will automatically convert this into your signature which can be altered in the "Preferences" tab at the top of the screen. I hope I have not overwhelmed you with information. If you need any help just let me know. Once again welcome to Wikipedia, and don't forget to tell us about yourself and be BOLD!   –BuickCenturyDriver 23:59, 20 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Zafin Labs

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Zafin Labs requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Shrike (talk) 08:23, 30 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

New draft

edit

So which of the refs added to User:Dnegraeff/Zafin labs is in English and geuinely third-party? But in any case please read {{uw-coi}} and ask yourself whether it would be far better for you wait until someone with no COI thinks the company is notable and writes about it. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 15:06, 7 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Genuinely third-party is the academic text, though as you point out it is non-english. I could provide a translation but it would be lengthy and would probably violate copyright as well as Wikipedia protocols for citation length. I have read the COI statement and about writing your first article and so I thought it best to be completely open about my affiliation - which I disclosed to you and through using my real name - and from what I read, while it's certainly better to not have a COI, it is also not impossible to have one and write from a neutral position, which I have attempted to do. If you would be interested in editing the article to make it more neutral, I would welcome that.Dnegraeff (talk) 15:27, 7 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
