Terry Crews edit

You uploaded the image Image:1-terry crews-pic.jpg, gave no source for the image, and claimed to have permission to use the image only on Wikipedia, so I deleted it under our deletion criterion WP:CSD#I3. For copyright reasons, we need to be sure of the source of all images that are uploaded, and we do not accept copyrighted images if permission is given for Wikipedia only. We only accept images where there is permission for further commercial reuse as well. The only example is fair use images, but the use of images of living people that appear in public are not covered by our fair use criteria. For a longer explanation, see our image use policy. Hope that helps, Kusma (討論) 13:01, 3 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

It's also considered shady to remove warnings from your own talk page; it gives the impression that you didn't read them. You're welcome to archive your talk page; in any case, the messages remain in the edit history. Thanks, and happy editing! - CobaltBlueTony 17:19, 26 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Internet sociology edit

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Internet sociology, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at Talk:Internet sociology. You may remove the deletion notice, and the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. Resources needn't online only, but that would speed up the process. At least use proper citation to substantiate your article; otherwise, it may pan out as original research. That would be a shame if this is a real topic; please, help out and find us the resources instead of getting upset. Never take anything personal here. It's a waste of your brain. - CobaltBlueTony 17:14, 26 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
You are very right. My apologies.--Dnaposse 17:31, 26 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Darwin Dwayne Hall edit

A tag has been placed on Darwin Dwayne Hall requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.
