Hi Danielle,

Great detailed draft overall, the organization of subheadings is straightforward and makes sense. In the causes section, some of the economic reasons could be applicable to both legal and illegal immigrations, you could specify that and just explain the differences between the two groups, such as illegal immigrants being poorer or even recruited as cheap labor. What specifically is the 1975 policy for immigration that you mention in the first paragraph? does this just mean that Chile's legal stance on immigrants is relaxed compared to other countries? I would also develop a bit more the section about how illegal immigrants are perceived and treated in Chile beyond just the politcal/legal aspects. Are there any large protests or activist groups either for or against immigrants? or are illegal immigrants singled out as more problematic than legal ones?
