Hello, Djh224, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Adam and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. Speedy deletion nomination of Tyvan Language edit

Hello Djh224,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Tyvan Language for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons. For more details please see the notice on the article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Your page creation for Tyvan Language edit

Hi Djh224! Thank you for your contributions. I just wanted to let you know that there already seems to be an article on Wikipedia for this subject under Tuvan language (to which Tyvan language is a pre-existing redirect. Also, you should not be posting personal details or really be sharing your real name on a Wikipedia page, so I will be requesting deletion. I am tagging in your instructor Chuck Haberl and the project supervisor, Adam so that they are aware as to why a speedy delete was requested.

Please do not feel disheartened. As there was no content to transfer other than your name and course details, I could not move it to User:Djh224/sandbox, which is where I would suggest you work on your page, rather than in the Wikipedia mainspace. This would allow you to edit the page without other editors interfering, while retaining accessibility to your instructor and fellow students.

I wish you well with your course and studies. Mabalu (talk) 10:46, 23 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Moved back edit

I've put your user page back where it belonged, and re-created the redirect to Tuvan language. Peridon (talk) 11:15, 23 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Djh224. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
