Orphaned non-free media (Image:OCseries.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:OCseries.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 07:39, 4 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Smallville edit

Per WP:MOSTV, when the cast list becomes really long it is typically best to just provide a link to the section that has the cast listed. Smallville, like some of those other shows, has a pretty large cast list. It also helps because people will try and rearrange names, and remove names that are no longer on the show, and Wikipedia is based on historical preservation and not recentism. It isn't hard to find the cast, because the infobox has a link that directs you to the cast list. As for the information there, this particular page is already too large. We cannot afford to go into major detail of the characters here, which is why some have their own individual pages and others appear at Characters of Smallville. We do not keep things "current" and "recent" because this is an encyclopedia and not a fansite, or a news organization.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 13:40, 24 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your contributions. Please remember to mark your edits as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes, or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you.  Mbinebri  talk ← 20:26, 30 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

March 2011 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article I Am the Dance Commander + I Command You to Dance: The Remix Album, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 19:01, 6 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

That's fine, but basically it looks stupid. No-where does anyone list the track as being a "live" track, so if you're not going to take the word of somebody who physically as the CD in their hand, where are you getting this live track rubbish from?

April 2011 edit

Your recent edit to the page Power Rangers appears to have added incorrect information and has been reverted or removed. All information in this encyclopedia must be verifiable in a reliable, published source. If you believe the information that you added was correct, please cite the references or sources or before making the changes, discuss them on the article's talk page.   Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Power Rangers. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. By not using edit summaries, you may be confusing other users. Please use the box below the main editing box to describe your changes so everyone can understand. Thanks. Re: Regarding my changes to the Power Rangers page edit

The Los Angeles Time news article you're citing says "The deal is worth about $100 million, according to a person familiar with the situation."[1] That doe's not mean Saban paid $100M for Power Rangers, that means The Los Angeles Time had someone tell them what they think Saban paid for Power Rangers going based on what other franchise like Power Rangers have sold for. The Hollywood Reporter news article I'm citing says "The overall results included a positive $43 million from the sale of the Power Rangers franchise"[2] That means Disney sold Power Rangers for $43M.   Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at We Found Love, you may be blocked from editing. It's been re-directed because it hasn't charted, don't do that again. Calvin NaNaNaC'mon! 17:00, 22 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button   or   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. StaticGull  Talk  17:13, 22 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

I suggest you all back off. I'm not having somebody tell me I'm being disruptive, and saying "don't do that again", for no legitimate reason. (The reason he or she has given is rubbish.)

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at Pink Friday, you may be blocked from editing. Dan56 (talk) 19:30, 25 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Pink Friday edit edit

You explained your last revision with "the majority are not favourable". How? Metacritic shows more Mixed reviews than favorable or unfavorable, respectively. And they themselves admit their scores are weighted with respect to the "prestige and respect" certain publications have in the "industry" (Metacritic help) The other sources also support "mixed". So unless Metacritic includes another review that brings their borderline 61 score, how about comprimising on "mixed to favorable reviews"? Dan56 (talk) 16:23, 8 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Yeah - "mixed to favorable reviews" is best description!

Pink Friday Tour edit

Actually, no. Minaj nor Live Nation make no claims to her current tour being different than her fall tour. The press release that you reference states:

The ‘Pink Friday Reloaded’ Tour will stop in Nottingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Birmingham, London, Sheffield and Cardiff. Nicki Minaj tickets will be available form Thursday 28th June

So, I guess we should disregard dates in Continental Europe? Furthermore, I don't see any information on Minaj's Twitter account (as you mentioned) that Minaj says the tours are different. The only difference I see is Minaj using #pinkfridaytour verus #pinkfridayreloadedtour. Also, I see that her website refers to the tour as the "Roman Reloaded Tour". We cannot assume any information unless otherwise stated. It would be pointless to make three separate articles based upon one tour. What is common amongst these titles are "Pink Friday" and that is why the articles were combined. Itsbydesign (talk) 05:54, 8 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

September 2012 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. I have noticed that some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you to seek consensus for certain edits. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 22:52, 12 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Nicki Minaj edit

Thank you for your contributions to Nicki Minaj! However, you seem to have removed both birth dates from the article. Following repeated discussion on the article talk page, we came to the decision to provide both as we have conflicting reliable sources and no official confirmation of either. It isn't helpful when things like this are removed when the article features a comment not to, or is it respectful to refer to other editors as "idiots". Information (especially about biographies of living people) has to be presented neutrally and with due weight; we can't simply exclude (or include) information based on editor's preferences. A redacted police report from celebrity gossip website "TMZ" is not suitable to wholly confirm someone's birth date, and we expect (hopefully) some light shed on the issue in December when it is either her 28th or 30th birthday. Thanks. Jennie | 16:49, 19 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

October 2012 edit

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 00:22, 28 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

January 2013 edit

Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, without providing a source and without establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 01:23, 28 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Saban's Power Rangers (film) edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Saban's Power Rangers (film), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.comingsoon.net/movies/news/661677-production-begins-on-sabans-power-rangers-movie.

It is possible that the bot was mistaken and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Please don't rename the article by cut-past contents from it. Just request it at Wikipedia:Requested moves#Uncontroversial technical requests and have the article with new name. But don't empty and redirect Power Rangers (film) again, or I'll ask an admin to stop you. And by the way, the film has no official title yet, so it's better to keep it with its current title until studio confirmed it. Thanks. --Captain Assassin! «TCG» 02:03, 2 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

November 2018 edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Teen Titans Go! To the Movies. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Geraldo Perez (talk) 23:47, 1 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
