Chronological order

edit

Chronological order is better because it doesn't impose the editors judgement on the facts. Most celebrities don't have clearly separate personal lives and professional lives. With Gomez it's not as important as it is with others, but there's no reason for you to impose your personal judgment as to which events are "personal" and which are "professional:.—Kww(talk) 04:20, 21 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I saw you have been working on Jessie J's new single "Bang Bang", I'm a huge fan of hers, so I would like to ask you if you could keep an eye on the US charts, like the Billboard Hot 100, so if this song enters that chart you could be able to update it on this song's article. My Everything artwork

edit

Hey, Divine618. I have noticed that you reverted my edit on File:Ariana Grande My Everything 2014 album artwork.png, without explaining why. I have uploaded a new version, which is 300px, and is the recommended size for infobox-use non-free album covers. I hope you understand, and remember to ping me if you replied. PS Help me add File:Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj - Bang Bang (Alternate Single Cover).png to the {{extra album cover}}. I can't access that site. Thanks, DEW. Adrenaline (Nahnah4) 08:37, 13 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

@Nahnah4: Yes I reverted the album cover of My Everything because the version you uploaded is an edited version of the cover. If you look at Grande's right arm, there is a lot of blurriness and discoloration. The version I reverted it to is the official cover and looks how it supposed to. I will however, change the image size to 300x300 to if fits the guidelines. Sorry about any confusion. About your alternate "Bang Bang" cover - I don't think that cover is okay to use. I know some different versions were going around but the file that you linked here wasn't actually used in any release, I think it's just an early version. Wikipedia states that if one album cover can be used to identify the work then another should not be added. There isn't much difference between the actual cover and the other one so I don't think it is acceptable. Thanks! Divine618 (talk) 19:28, 13 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Problems with upload of File:Alex & Sierra It's About Us.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Alex & Sierra It's About Us.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or provided a license tag. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, select the appropriate license tag from this list, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you can't find a suitable license tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. File permission problem with File:Katelyn Tarver performing at Fresno Fair.png

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Katelyn Tarver performing at Fresno Fair.png. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

ATTENTION: This is an automated, BOT-generated message. This bot DID NOT nominate your file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 03:00, 27 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
