Hello ‎Celia,

I can see that the information regarding the Equerry's letter to his father is not directly relevant to the Albert Victor article, so I accept your judgement by removing this text.

However, since the entire paragraph is referring to the Prince's travel throughout the region of India (including various major city stops) I believe that Rangoon is relevant to the article. For example, we could rewrite this particular section like this:

"Albert Victor arrived in Bombay on 9 November 1889.[61] where he then visited Hyderabad where he was entertained sumptuously by the Nizam,[62] and elsewhere by many other maharajahs.[63] from there he traveled to Rangoon (Dec. 20th), then Mandalay for Christmas and finally Calcutta for NewYears, before heading back to England just prior to his Dukeship in the spring of 1890."

Once again, for proof that the Prince was in Rangoon on the 20th is the letter from his Equerry Sir George Lindsay Holford which falls in nicely within the writings of Aronson and Cook ref. [59] through [65].

A final note, using Philately (as well as postal history) in order to verify actual events add very strong credibility to the historical record.

I hope you can agree.
