Please note we have reliable sources that support the contention that foxes have been introduced into Tasmania. Your Hansard reference relates only to a question about whether specific techniques have found evidence to that point of time. --Michael Johnson (talk) 00:48, 17 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. --Michael Johnson (talk) 02:00, 17 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

What part of Since the recent accumulation of evidence that indicated foxes were present in Tasmania, in excess of 1000 fox sightings have been reported; remains of foxes have been found in the State, as have confirmed footprints, and scats have been positively identified as containing fox DNA or fox hair.[1] indicates that foxes are not present in Tasmania? Why do you continue to add misinformation to Wikipedia? --Michael Johnson (talk) 02:56, 17 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Michael Johnson has continually referred to the illegal introduction of foxes into Tasmania. There is no evidence of the illegal introductions. Please demonstrate the evidence if you are privy to this information. The report prepared for the Tasmanian Government: Foxes in Tasmania-Invasive Animals CRC Report; Chronology of events - 3.2.3. clearly states that the Tasmania Police investigation concluded there was no substance in the allegations of illegal fox introductions, other than the people named actually exist. Arrr a response! Thank you. So your concern is the words "deliberate but illegal". Fair enough, you are right there, there is on source for that claim. I have deleted those words, and hope that you find that acceptable, as per this dif [3]. By the way the article are not just my words, they are the results of co-operation between a number of editors. Just reverting edits is not going to achieve much, better in future to discuss it - that is what talk pages are for. --Michael Johnson (talk) 23:17, 17 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
