Orphaned non-free image File:IGATE-Logo.png edit

Thanks for uploading File:IGATE-Logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:33, 27 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Why did you revert this change? SVG logo is preferred over png --Sreejith K (talk) 14:57, 30 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Is there any policy now, that we no longer use the PNG files, I was surprised to see the logo of a legacy company changed after 6 years. --Dineshkumar Ponnusamy (talk) 15:04, 30 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Discretionary sanctions notice edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

@SUN EYE 1 I would like to understand what the above message means and interested in the reason of adding "Senthamizhan" in front of seeman where the page title remains "Seeman" since his name was disputed as Sebastian seeman and Senthamizhan seeman.--Dineshkumar Ponnusamy (talk) 00:38, 26 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
@SUN EYE 1 Keep on sending threatening messages won't answer my questions I guess. The page name still says just "Seeman" instead of "Senthamizhan" or "Sebastian" I believe. Can you revert your changes, thanks! --Dineshkumar Ponnusamy (talk) 23:34, 26 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
I replied here, guess you had removed it along with the warning, I have replied on the article's talk page. The warning for edit warring is usually sent to users who edit war and it is not meant to threaten you. Sorry if it was threatening to you. Best, SUN EYE 1 05:18, 27 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of File:IGATE-Logo.png edit

The file File:IGATE-Logo.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unused low-quality logo (replaced by vector File:IGATE logo.svg)

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ways to improve Brigida Saga edit

Hello, Dineshkumar Ponnusamy,

Thank you for creating Brigida Saga.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

This article does not meet WP:ENT, and is WP:NYA too soon for an article.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Whiteguru (talk) 04:58, 25 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

@@Whiteguru:, I did get a chance to review the notability guidelines but it’s really vague. The actress already acted in 3 released films and 2 more films are ready for release. I’m still not sure what makes a notable person for actor, if you need more references about all the released movies I can add them as well. —Dineshkumar Ponnusamy (talk) 05:15, 25 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Brigida Saga moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Brigida Saga, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.  DIVINE  08:51, 25 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thanks Divine for moving it to Draft space, I will add more references and internal links. —Dineshkumar Ponnusamy (talk) 01:34, 6 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Links to draft articles edit

Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to Ayogya (2019 film), Aaha Kalyanam (web series)‎, Iravin Nizhal, Cooku with Comali (season 3)‎ and Velan (film)‎. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 09:52, 4 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for letting me know about it. I will fix it. —Dineshkumar Ponnusamy (talk) 01:33, 6 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
