I've just re-edited George Geritsidis again. Please note that Wikipedia articles are linked by internal links. A Wikipedia article can not reference another Wikipedia article - ever. References need to be reliable 3rd party sources. AllyD (talk) 22:09, 22 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

The article George Geritsidis has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

per WP:SINGLEEVENT, plus not individually notable, he was one of many victims of the suppression of the Polytechnic uprising.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.   Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at George Geritsidis, is considered bad practice, even if you meant it well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. If George Geritsidis gets deleted at AfD, ask the admin who closes the AfD discussion to userify the page to User:Dimzam10/Death of George Geritsidis and develop a draft from there.
