You mention the “Sanctuary Restaurant Movement” – what about this movement is more relevant than other “food justice” movements? How will you prioritize which movements to include? Hfrankl (talk) 21:43, 9 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • Thanks for your comment Hannah! The portion about the Sanctuary Restaurant Movement was only part of our initial brainstorming session. We have removed that from our Wiki page, since we didn't feel it was relevant to our new topic. Dianan.nguyen (talk) 01:49, 16 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Nice work defining the Food Justice movement. However, I think the "undocumented" section seemed to be worded a bit biased. Make sure that you provide an impartial view to the idea. Jyescas (talk) 21:56, 9 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • Hi there! Thank you for the feedback. I'm glad to hear you like the Food Justice Section! Kenneth701 (talk) 01:54, 16 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • Thank you for your feedback Jessica. I did realize it is a bit biased, I am working on adding more content and hopefully it will clear things up. Arianab914 (talk) 03:49, 17 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

I like the start of the Food Justice movement section. You define it really well, but I think it would be helpful to provide concrete examples of organizations in the Food Justice movement that have played a major, or even minor, role. I know you're still adding to this section, so maybe you were planning on doing this already. But if not, I'd recommend talking about the Coalition of Immokalee Workers, who launched the Fair Food Program (FFP) in 2011. --Jschindler11 (talk) 20:58, 10 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • Hi there! Thank you for the feedback. I'm glad you think I defined it well because I spent a ton of time trying to get it right. I added a part about the Coalition of Immokalee workers and touched upon the Fair Food Program. Kenneth701 (talk) 01:54, 16 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

What you have so far, is informative and worded well. I agree that with jysescas that the undocumented section could be phrased less bias. I also think you could broach and expand on food deserts and how that connects with the food justice movement. Juliahouser (talk) 18:43, 11 March 2017 (UTC) Thanks for the feedback, our group took this into consideration and made adjustments accordingly! Hopeslee (talk) 18:46, 20 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thorough and well done! I feel like the second half of the "Children and Food Security" section seems a little biased, specifically " Even more, federal funds are being wasted because students are not eating..." Maybe add "conservatives also believe" in order to reinforce that it is their opinion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Christinafuentes (talkcontribs) 06:51, 12 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • Thanks for the suggestion on my portion. I will change that to make it more apparent that it was the Conservatives' opinions. Dianan.nguyen (talk) 01:49, 16 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
