Thank You edit

Hi Dgcuff. I just wanted to take a moment to stop by and thank you for the work you did on the Robert J. Sawyer article. I don't know if you've been by recently to see the mess that erupted there since, but you asked back in August, "does my attempt help anyone see their way clear to a better cleanup?" and I wanted to answer that question for you.

Yes. Your efforts on the article most certainly helped me to see through the puff and conceptualize a direction for further improvement of the article. Your edits were constructive, added value to the article, and took it in the direction which group consensus had suggested it needed to go. The wholesale reversion of your work which occurred subsequently was unfortunate and inappropriate. However, the reversion war did, eventually, spark an intelligent discussion. We'll get this article up to snuff yet. Bowrain13 (talk) 15:17, 19 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Thanks for creating Ches Crosbie, Dgcuff!

Wikipedia editor Boleyn just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:

Doesn't meet WP:NPOL or WP:GNG. Perhaps WP:TOOSOON. Redirecting to save it from deletion; then if he becomes notable, the redirect can be reverted and the page be worked on.
