User:Nyttend Please unlock my account. I did not really know about all this rules. If you notice, the goal of the article was to collect info already available everywhere but on wikipedia.Ixcoin2014 (talk) 08:30, 26 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of IXcoin edit

The article IXcoin has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

electronic currency article of unclear notability, lacking independent references to establish notability, created by an SPA as possibly promotional

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Blocked edit

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because it appears to be mainly intended for publicity and/or promotional purposes. If you intend to edit constructively in other topic areas, you may be granted the right to continue under a change of username. Please read the following carefully.
Why can't I edit Wikipedia?

Your account's edits and/or username indicate that it is being used on behalf of a company, group, website or organization for purposes of promotion and/or publicity. The edits may have violated one or more of our rules on spamming, which include: adding inappropriate external links, posting advertisements and using Wikipedia for promotion. Wikipedia has many articles on companies, groups, and organizations, but such groups are generally discouraged from using Wikipedia to write about themselves. In addition, usernames like yours are disallowed under our username policy.

Am I allowed to make these edits if I change my username?

Probably not, although if you can demonstrate a pattern of future editing in strict accordance with our neutral point of view policy, you may be granted this right. See Wikipedia's FAQ for Organizations for a helpful list of frequently asked questions by people in your position. Also, review the conflict of interest guidance to see the kinds of limitations you would have to obey if you did want to continue editing about your company, group, organization, or clients. If this does not fit in with your goals, then you will not be allowed to edit Wikipedia again.

What can I do now?

If you have no interest in writing about some other topic than your organization, group, company, or product, you may consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.

If you do intend to make useful contributions here about some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:

  • Add the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} on your user talk page.
  • Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:Listusers to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy.
  • Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
    • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked.
    • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

Final note

If you wish to contact me, the administrator who blocked you, it's actually not hard. You can still edit this talk page, so to let me know you're wanting my attention, link my userpage in your comment. This can be done by including the code [[User:Nyttend]] in your comment. Please note that this won't work unless you sign your own comment; type four tildes ~~~~ at the end of your comment, or the software won't tell me that you're trying to reach me. It looks like better to change it

I've decided to unblock you, but please keep in mind the policies Wikipedia has regarding verifiability and notability. Feel free to contribute, but keep in mind that you need reliable sources when you add new information. Allowing username change to requested username. Please put this request in at Wikipedia:Changing username as soon as possible to avoid re-blocking. Bjelleklang - talk 21:04, 27 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Here are a few key questions:

You are currently blocked because your username appears directly related to a company, group or product that you have been promoting, contrary to the username policy. Changing the username will not allow you to violate the 3 important principles above. If unblocked, how will you contribute to Wikipedia? Bjelleklang - talk 08:41, 26 January 2014 (UTC) I was trying to give reliable info on a coin not yet included in wikipedia, despite it exists from a longer time then many others. If I was a company, probably I would be smarter. I would like to have a second chance. Otherwise, I can live with that. Thanks.Reply

Since you've posted the unblock request, and since Bjelleklang's come to respond to it, I'll leave the decision up to him. I will note that I can't see any problems with "Dexter4444". Nyttend (talk) 14:38, 26 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
If unblocked, what areas do you plan to contribute to? Can you give us examples? Bjelleklang - talk 09:15, 27 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

It will probably be about the world of cryptocurrencies, expecially the less known.

November 2017 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.   -- There'sNoTime (to explain) 22:56, 9 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
With due note to your previous block - you shouldn't have been unblocked, as since the unblock all you've done is continue to attempt to promote a non-notable altcoin. Wikipedia is not your soapbox -- There'sNoTime (to explain) 22:57, 9 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Conflict of interest editing edit

Please read WP:COI as well as WP:3RR. I suggest you make no further editing that has anything to do with IxCoin, as you only seem to be here to promote your coin. Greenman (talk) 09:30, 10 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
