Good work on Canolfan Tryweryn, BTW. Also like the rivers access work your doing.

You on any of the forums? Jamsta 13:22, 8 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Not canoeing related no, although I think I do actually have an account on the UKRiversGuideBook, but I hardly use it. I tried once to get them to convert to a Wiki format, but it didn't get very far. I also remember trying to get them to run a Folding@Home team, which again was shunned, and I note that the thread now no-longer exists. I'm a computer geek at heart, with just a flair for metal-mania and a good helping of whitewater kayaking to keep me active.DevAnubis 13:25, 8 September 2006 (UTC) EDIT: just tidying up a little. If you are looking for a good kayaking wiki guide that you can edit then check out Wikipaddle. Its still fairly new but it looks promising.

Adding "www." edit

It was necessary for that URL; that's why I added it. You'd be surprised how many websites out there don't run an HTTP server (even a redirector) on their main domain name. Nothing to do with pedantry. 193.128.127.33 10:16, 14 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

River Washburn edit

I noticed you have the River Washburn page on your ideas/todo list. I've made a start on it if you want to join in. ;) CiaranG 20:04, 20 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference edit

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 19:02, 14 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Resistanz (festival) edit

Hello DevAnubis. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Resistanz (festival)".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Resistanz (festival)}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 22:56, 13 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
