  Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Taqiyya. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Fat&Happy (talk) 19:07, 2 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

  Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Talk:Taqiyya. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Fat&Happy (talk) 22:00, 2 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

  Please do not add unsourced content, as you did to Taqiyya. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Fat&Happy (talk) 22:00, 2 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

{{helpme}}

The information I've submitted for the definition of taqiyya IS validated. There is an Islamaphobe using the screen name Fat&happy who is deleting the information I've added while he's submitting bogus information. How do I report this??

Yes the first thing you should do is stop edit warring. See the relevant policy on edit waring. Most of these issues resolve with discussion on the talk page. You can ask for an administrative intervention if you believe there is no way to discuss the matter directly with the editor you disagree with. and you feel the matter is of some urgent nature. For the most part all I am seeing is a request for you to source your claims which appear contentious to the discretion of the reverting editor. So the best answer is talk about it don't fight about it or edit war about it. My76Strat 05:59, 7 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
I have done a more through review of your contributions and am unequivocally of the opinion that you have a specific point of view which is contrary to Wikipedias policy on neutral point of view. If you can understand this core principle you will understand and appreciate the actions which have been taken by other editors as well, besides Fat&Happy. Good luck to you and for best results refer to relevant policy when trying to determine the appropriateness of an action. Most often a user does try to explain why they reverted an edit. Ok....but is this Fat&happy person receiving the same warning that I received? As soon as I referred him to the site & page, he began adding baseless information. I merely replaced the correct info. I'm really not that family with Wikipedia and it's process and it's not as straight-forward to the new user as you may think it is.

I see the remnants of Fat&happy's chages remain: "Taqiyya is a practice in Shi'a Islam and Sunni Islam[1] whereby adherents may conceal their faith when they are under threat, persecution, or compulsion.[2]" Taqiyya has no connection with Sunnis, as the explanation of taqiyya, itself, bears witness!

It doesn't matter what anyone else does. It is essential, if someone challenges information, to discuss it. See WP:NOTTHEM. If the article is 'wrong' for a while, that's fine - while it is discussed. See WP:AVOIDEDITWAR. Cheers,  Chzz  ►  08:02, 2 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

I asked if the fat&happy person got the same note sent to them because they intended harm; I didn't. I just did not know the rules of Wikipedia.

In the meantime, I see that the initial definition for taqiyya is still: Taqiyya is a practice in Shi'a Islam and Sunni Islam[1] whereby adherents may conceal their faith when they are under threat, persecution, or compulsion.[2] But later under Sunni Point of View, it states: There is no such terminology as taqiyya in Sunni jurisprudence, thus invalidating taqiyya as "being a practice in Sunni Islam!

Please remove the "Sunni Islam" reference from the definition.
