Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, Desjardins.v. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Monique F. Leroux, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. MarioGom (talk) 16:52, 5 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello MarioGom

I have no affiliation with Monique F. Leroux, I think she is a great Canadian businesswoman and we should celebrate women in business!

I am here to add content in french and translate content into English and German.

I used to work for the music industry in Canada/Quebec (which is why most of my contributions are related to that), I just moved to Germany with my husband who works full time. I have a lot of time to give and it's Covid... I have nothing else to do, so I edit, and add articles about Canadians, Canadian artists, Canadian businesses and learn German.

I just translated Monique Leroux's bio in English.

Desjardins.v: Thanks for your response and sorry for the inconvenience. I've got that initial impression because of Desjardins Group, but I realize it is also a surname and a number of other things. Please, note that the user talk page policy allows you to remove this whole conversation from your talk page if you wish to do so (more info at WP:BLANKING). Sorry again, and happy editing!
