February 2016 edit

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Ashurst Wood. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. David J Johnson (talk) 11:53, 4 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Further to my warning above, you are edit warring by reverting editors who are informing you that you need to show references/sources for your contributions. Also your edits show a personal WP:POV bias, which is not allowed under Wikipedia guidelines. Also your user name is not allowed, as stated by a Wikipedia Administrator above. Failure to abide by these conventions could see you blocked from editing. Thank you, David J Johnson (talk) 12:05, 4 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
Ok, kindly stop the aggression - absolutly no need when I'm simply asking for assistance. so I'll change the name as requested but I have actually asked what was wrong in charles' talk page because there was no indication of what was wrong. I would suggest that you are being rather unhelpful. So my question would be simply how on earth do I update the page if you continually undo the edits before I've finished? Nakedtruthpublications (talk) 12:21, 4 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
There is no aggression, or being unhelpful. You have simply been advised of Wikipedia standards and requirements. You should not update the Ashurst Wood article without showing correct references and sources, nor should your "edits" show a personal WP:POV statements. In other words do not "update" before you have all references completed, stop reverting proper versions informing you of Wikipedia conventions, and stop using a inappropiate User name. Thank you and regards, David J Johnson (talk) 12:31, 4 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for the advice - It would have been useful if you had taken the time to explain in the first time rather than being so utterly negative. I have already stated the name is being changed Nakedtruthpublications (talk) 12:36, 4 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • @David J Johnson: I think the "POV" edits were probably quotes from the village planning document (which should have been attributed and more clearly set out as quotes, of course, but this is a very new editor), rather than the editor's own POV. This new editor has had a rough ride so far. PamD 18:19, 4 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
This "new editor" had been warned several times by three editors, including an administrator, on both the issue of User name and reverting edits without adequate reasons. It hasn't been a "rough ride", as the reasons for making the reversions were clearly stated and not in any way detrimental. We all make mistakes when we start editing, but that is no reason to edit war - as this newbie has done. Case closed. David J Johnson (talk) 18:29, 4 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
