Blocked

edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because your account is being used only for vandalism. (Your account has reappeared after a long absence only to go on a spree of absurdist vandalism on pages related to east London. Given that the account's contributions were previously legitimate, I suspect it to be compromised. Either way, the vandalism needs to stop.) If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. — Hex (❝?!❞) 00:51, 28 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

this is a content dispute; I don't regard it as vandalism, especially when no warnings were given or discussion entered into. "Absurdist" is a personal assessment which should not enter into reasons for blocking in these circumstances

Request handled by: Rodhullandemu

Unblocking administrator: Please check for active autoblocks on this user after accepting the unblock request.

I am going to contact the blocking admin. Bear with me for a short time. --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 21:09, 30 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
