Proposed deletion of Manyata Tech Park

The article Manyata Tech Park has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Proposing for deletion as non-notable. Fails GNG. google:Manyata Tech Park turns up only cursory mention in the first five pages.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --L235 (t / c / ping in reply) 04:31, 26 April 2015 (UTC)

If there is no other article named "Got Your Six", the article should be created at that title, otherwise, it creates extra work. --Jax 0677 (talk) 13:32, 1 June 2015 (UTC)

Virat Kohli

I noticed that you have edited Kohli's page every time that I reverted it to the standard format. When an international cricketer who represent a nation, there is a standard type to give him a unique style of awards. In ODIs, you know that all teams wear colored kits with their own colors. So, you definitely know that the color of India is light blue or in other words, it is cyan. So, in making the awards table, it is good to highlight the table with cyan color, then any person know that the award is by representing India. This is done in countries like West Indies, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Australia as well, with their respective colors of maroon, black, blue ad yellow. So take a look at it and just edit it. It is good to see the page of Mahendra Singh Dhoni awards format.

Your format is also incorrect in making T20I awards, you know that T20I is not a series with 5 matches as in ODIs or Tests, so only single or maximum 3 matches are included for a series. So, the naming of date and the opponent in highlighted format is not necessary. the series and the performance of the player is enough, but the date and the opponent can include in the references. I think you will understand that, unless, the page of Kohli will be completely out of the format with other Indian and international player stats.

Thank You..Gihan Jayaweera (talk) 7 Ocotber 2015 (UTC)

The standard format is the one without colors. I see that you've been adding colored tables on all Indian cricketers' articles trying to establish colored tables as the "standard format". This is a major change you've made on tens of articles and would require WP:CONSENSUS. I'll start a discussion about this on WP:CRICKET and see what the regular cricket editors have to say. For now, I'll only be reverting your edit on Kohli's article because it is currently a GA candidate and I don't want to jeopardize its chances. Do not revert back until the discussion concludes. Dee03 13:59, 7 October 2015 (UTC)

I just made the tables in to format of others and citing that the match is just "Won" is not enough. Because, the effect of the player should reveal, by winning in huge margin give the idea of his impact to choose as the man of the match. Also, the opponent team is not necessary to highlight by its flag, because it gives complicated idea due to lot of flags. So remove it. So it is good to rearrange the tables to format of all other player tables. I must mention you that, only Kohli's page is totally obstructing the format and method of citing the tables. Thank You... Gihan Jayaweera (talk) 22 Ocotber 2015 (UTC)

Do you know that Kohli has three T20I man of the match awards. You just mentioned award at 2014 World Twenty20. What is about 2012 World Twenty20 awards...Huh...Gihan Jayaweera (talk) 22 Ocotber 2015 (UTC). Your decision will consider at the cricket panel.

Just noticed the articles that you have created for several major Ranji players (Vij, Saldanha, Arothe, Kanwaljit etc). Excellent work ! Tintin 12:05, 2 January 2016 (UTC)

Thank you. I appreciate the Ranji season articles you've created. Duleep Trophy season articles are missing too, if you'd like. Dee03 13:46, 2 January 2016 (UTC)
It will be a few years before I complete the Ranji articles :-) Btw, some editions of Indian Express are available online and they may be useful for articles on local players. For eg, Pandove's obit is in Page 18 here Tintin 02:02, 3 January 2016 (UTC)

Hi Dee03, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the patroller right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. He was a regular commentator in cricket matches in DD in the 1980s. Can you find any references for it ? I couldn't find in a quick google. Tintin 13:31, 14 January 2016 (UTC)

Please see the event and add your name as a participant: Wikipedia:WikiProject India/Events/Geographical Indications in India Edit-a-thon

Geographical Indications in India Edit-a-thon starts in 24 hours

Hello,

Thanks a lot for signing up as a participant in the Geographical Indications in India Edit-a-thon. We want to inform you that this edit-a-thon will start in next 24 hours or so (25 January 0:00 UTC). Here are a few handy tips:

  • ⓵ Before starting you may check the rules of the edit-a-thon once again.
  • ⓶ A resource section has been started, you may check it here.
  • ⓷ Report the articles you are creating and expanding. If a local event page has been created on your Wikipedia you may report it there, or you may report it on the Meta Wiki event page too. This is how you should add an article— go to the "participants" section where you have added you name, and beside that add the articles like this: Example (talk) (Articles: Article1, Article2, Article3, Article4). You don't need to update both on Meta and on your Wikipedia, update at any one place you want.
  • ⓸ If you are posting about this edit-a-thon- on Facebook or Twitter, you may use the hashtag #GIIND2016
  • ⓹ Do you have any question or comment? Do you want us to clarify something? Please ask it here.

Thank you and happy editing.   --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:33, 23 January 2016 (UTC)

7 more days to create or expand articles

Hello, thanks a lot for participating in Geographical Indications in India Edit-a-thon. We understand that perhaps 7 days (i.e. 25 January to 31 January) were not sufficient to write on a topic like this, and/or you may need some more time to create/improve articles, so let's extend this event for a few more days. The edit-a-thon will continue till 10 February 2016 and that means you have got 7 more days to create or expand articles (or imprpove the articles you have already created or expanded).

Rules

The rules remain unchanged. Please report your created or expanded articles.

Joining now

Editors, who have not joined this edit-a-thon, may also join now.

Reviewing articles

Reviewing of all articles should be done before the end of this month (i.e. February 2016). We'll keep you informed. You may also check the event page for more details.

Prizes/Awards

A special barnstar will be given to all the participants who will create or expand articles during this edit-a-thon. The editors, who will perform exceptionally well, may be given an Indic Geographical Indication product or object. However, please note, nothing other than the barnstar has been finalized or guaranteed. We'll keep you informed.
