Hi, and welcome! Noticed you added category:UEFA Pro Licence holders to Alex McLeish and Roy Aitken. You may not know yet that categories need to be backed up with a reliable source in the body of the article, which isn't the case on the two pages mentioned. This is particularly important when adding categories (or anything else, for that matter :) to articles about living persons. If you could add a sentence somewhere appropriate in the articles just to say he is a holder of the Pro Licence, with reference to a reliable source that verifies the fact, that would be great. If you don't know how to format the reference, just put the URL between single square brackets, which will display like this [1], and someone will eventually come along and tidy up the formatting :) cheers, Struway2 (talk) 08:02, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

Lit encyclopedia

Good job on removing some of those lists already there. I went ahead and made redirects for some of them in case anyone was to try and search for the articles on Wikipedia from the lit encyclopedia (e.g. typing in tasso will not get them any article so I redirected that page to go to the one you identified). Lancope

I've changed the speedy delete template on this article from the {{db-g4}} you added to {{db-spam}} as it's not eligible for a G4 deletion. G4 deletion is only for pages that have been deleted after a deletion discussion (in this case it would be WP:AfD) and can not be applied to pages that have only been speedy deleted as this page appears to have been. Oscar Wilde article

The United Kingdom of Britain and Ireland existed between 1801-1922. Why that makes Oscar Wilde "English" I can't imagine. He regarded himself as Irish and is so thought of by knowledgeable people. Do not change this again. Declan Clam (talk)

My apologies - It makes him British then. There was no such thing as Ireland back then. Only the idea in the minds of a bunch of rebels. If you want to keep on misinforming people of the nature of politics in that era, then that is fine, but you have just damaged your own reputation.

Oscar Wilde was British - fact. He may have thought himself to be Irish but factually he wasn't.

I'm no expert, but I think the article should be about the Michael Birch who founded Bebo, was born in 1970, etc.; not about the person (or friend of the person) who has changed it to make it about a Michael Birch who may or may not exist and may or, much more likely, may not have done some of the things attributed to him. Issue 5 - February 2010 Welcome to the latest WikiProject Theatre newsletter (the first in quite a while!) bringing you news of what's going on in the project, what progress we're making, and how you can get involved. Latest News All theatre articles currently tagged with a project banner have now been assessed for quality. There are still plenty to assess for importance, though - see the article assessment page for details. There is now a News section on the main project page, updated automatically to keep us informed of developments in theatre articles. Collaboration of the Month Theatre has been nominated as the next project collaboration. This could be an excellent opportunity to improve the quality of one of our most important articles - listed as one of Wikipedia's top 1000 most vital articles - but it needs a lot of work before it can be considered for even good article nomination! Stop by the collaboration page for tips on how to improve an article, to add your support, or to suggest alternative or future collaborations. Jobs you can do Any and all improvements to theatre-related articles will help the project, but if you're looking for something to do, have a look at the to-do list. Some current areas of priority are: Improving top-importance articles Prioritisation of unknown-importance articles Creation of requested article stubs If you are currently working on a particular topic or area of the project, and would like to muster some support from other editors, feel free to add tasks to the to-do list. I am just letting you know that I have converted the speedy deletion tag that you placed on Green Marketing in Business Sustainability- The Need of the Hour to a proposed deletion tag, because I do not believe CSD applies to the page in question - WP:CSD#A1 applies only to "very short articles", which this certainly is not! It's undoubtedly original research, but that isn't a speedy reason, so it will have to be PRODded. The same applies to Green Marketing Approach: The New Survival Mantra of Business Organizations. AfroCine: Join the Months of African Cinema this October!

After a successful first iteration of the “Months of African Cinema” last year, we are happy to announce that it will be happening again this year, starting from October 1! In the 2018 edition of the contest, about 600 Wikipedia articles were created in at least 8 languages. There were also contributions to Wikidata and Wikimedia commons, which brought the total number of wikimedia pages created during the contest to over 1,000.
