Hi Debbiereynolds,
did you really shoot by yourself the original photographies, reproduced in your 2 Clive Parker uploads to Commons? --Túrelio (talk) 11:29, 16 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Do you like them ?? I have a vast archive of photographs as I was an keen photographer, taking pictures of bands, lots from the 70's, 80's, etc... they will all be online and some here, so look in again - thanks!

Thanks for your reply. Being an admin on Commons, my question had a more "serious" reason, as initially I had some doubts about the "own work" claim. I've categorized the image as "Non-digital historic pictures" now. Regards. --Túrelio (talk) 12:59, 17 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

How to cite an article . . . edit

To cite an article, you link to the article on the Web and cite it in a footnote. Don't link to any image. Put details on my Talk page and I will help you out. Or leave details here, under this message. And see WP:Cite, Sincerely, your friend, GeorgeLouis (talk) 19:27, 20 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Pseudonym edit

Hello. If you are the film star, you might consider using a pseudonym. If you are simply a fan, you will probably get a lot more messages like this one. Sincerely, GeorgeLouis (talk) 19:32, 20 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Clive Parker edit

Hi Debbie, I wouldn't worry about the article being deleted. There is clear consensus to keep. That said, a closing editor will make a determination according to their understanding. If the article is deleted, it will not be lost. It can be restored to a subpage of your userspace. There is a further option to challenge the deletion through deletion review. I think we'll be fine though. Regards, Cind.amuse 11:22, 27 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Big Country - 1981.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:Big Country - 1981.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Whpq (talk) 15:04, 11 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
