When I tagged the article, I was thinking of statements like "Ramadorai also spearheaded TCS' quality initiatives, taking sixteen of its Development Centers to SEI's CMM Level 5, the highest and most prestigious performance assessment", which was unsourced. Hi, thanks for your message. I think I'd say it still applies, specifically these pieces of text (which I realise you didn't add) - "Ramadorai focused his efforts on building relationships with large corporations and academic institutions, planning and directing technology development and acquisitions and overseeing the company's research and development activities ... Ramadorai also spearheaded TCS's quality initiatives ... He has also been honoured with CNBC Asia Pacific's prestigious 'Asia Business Leader of the Year' Award in 2002". The first sentence references two interviews, but I'm not entirely sure that they make this point about building relationships - I may be missing something - and also, as the sources are interviews, I'd expect the article to say "Ramadorai says that he ... ". Brief quotations can be a good way of ensuring that an article says exactly what the sources say. Regarding the second phrase, "spearheaded" reads pufferyish to me and could perhaps be replaced with what exactly his role was, such as "managed". Regarding the third phrase, I would make it more neutral along the lines of "he was awarded the title of Asia Business Leader of the year in 2022". Hope that helps. The sentence "Ramadorai focused his efforts on building relationships with large corporations and academic institutions, planning and directing technology development and acquisitions and overseeing the company's research and development activities" is part of the historical journey of TCS. He was a one-man team when TCS set up its first office in the US. It has been captured widely in India's IT history and in his biography. DebaratiG (talk) 19:06, 25 September 2023 (UTC)

Also, TCS was the first Indian company to invent the global software delivery model, and this was led by S Ramadorai. TCS Development Centers are a part of various management case studies now. Does that still make "spearheaded" inapplicable? DebaratiG (talk) 19:15, 25 September 2023 (UTC)

My current employer is the Tata Consultancy Services. S Ramadorai was associated with the company in the past and does not hold any association at present. So, he is neither my employer nor my colleague at present. Please let me know if there is still a COI and if yes, what am I expected to do to have the information updated.
