You are right, written that way it does state that nothing else could possibly grow there. It is better worded in the Monotropa hypopitys article. Of course the low-light does exclude most plants, and led to the evolution of Myco-heterotrophy many times over. Meggar 23:18, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
