Hello, I'm JCMLuis. I noticed that you recently removed content from Shaun Leane (jeweller) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Hi Adakiko, Thank you for your message. I don't think my contribution is advertising - it is stating fact about TV shows that Shaun Leane has been invited to participate in for his knowledge. The show is no longer on air - but like most shows you can watch them through archives. Is it the reference article from the Daily Mail that you think is soapbox as I can remove it? When I added it I did receive a message saying that source was not liked, but it did allow me to add it. I spent some time adding all of that information yesterday and I want to do it correctly but I don't understand the issue. Deanstoft (talk) 12:34, 25 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Tacyarg. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Shaun Leane (jeweller) have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Phrasing like "to nurture and promote new and exciting talent" reads promotional, and please ensure additions are sourced to reliable and independent published sources. Do you have a link to this designer? Tacyarg (talk) 15:19, 22 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
