Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at Talk:Advent wreath, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button   located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. General Ization Talk 10:35, 22 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Also, new entries on Talk pages go at the the bottom of the page: see WP:BOTTOMPOST. Please stop reverting my move of your comments at Talk:Advent wreath. General Ization Talk 11:00, 22 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
You have a reply at Talk:Advent_wreath#Christian_vs_Protestant explaining why your change was reverted. General Ization Talk 14:25, 22 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Vetkoek, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. General Ization Talk 14:30, 22 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Statue of Paul Kruger, Church Square, you may be blocked from editing. General Ization Talk 14:31, 22 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please don't change the format of dates, as you did to Noah's Ark. As a general rule, if an article has evolved using predominantly one format, the dates should be left in the format they were originally written in, unless there are reasons for changing it based on strong national ties to the topic. Please also note that Wikipedia does not use ordinal suffixes (e.g., st, nd, th), articles, or leading zeros on dates.

For more information about how dates should be written on Wikipedia, please see this page.

If you have any questions about this, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Enjoy your time on Wikipedia. Specifically, you should have a look at WP:ERA. Favonian (talk) 17:55, 21 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Noah's Ark. Your refusal to follow Wikipedia's guide lines, specifically WP:ERA, is becoming disruptive. Favonian (talk) 18:00, 21 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history at Noah's Ark shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. With this edit, you refactored another editor's comment on a talk page. That is strictly forbidden! Favonian (talk) 18:08, 21 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
