Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a few moments to create a new account with a username that represents only you. If your username doesn't represent a group, organization or website, you may ask for a review of this username block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below this message. Thank you. None of the material you added to the roller hockey articles has any references or press coverage. I read your answer below to the question from Bwilkins. If your idea of a proper source is the website of the promoters, mlrh.com, your material does not belong on Wikipedia. Our rules on conflict of interest do not allow Wikipedia to be used for advertising or promotion. I would reconsider this decision if you can add some references here on your talk page, which show that these roller hockey teams are considered significant by the press. I have noticed that your edits appear to be full of WP:COI ... a name change will not allow you to do so. What articles do you intend to work on with the new username? (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 10:29, 3 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

I intend to complete pages about current Major League Roller Hockey teams. I plan on finishing the pages of the 6 other teams. There are several other pages about former teams. For more info the leagues web site is www.mlrh.com. It is a professional league and I plan on fixing the issues with the page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dcfilibusters (talkcontribs)

There are tons of ther pages about Pro and Semi Professional Inline hockey teams. Major League Roller Hockey is a Professional league. Pages will be started on all teams. I just started the page on my favorite team.

Proposed deletion of DC Filibusters

edit

The article DC Filibusters has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced. Trivial and non-notable. Fails WP:GNG. Also see WP:SPORTCRIT. Full of WP:REDLINKS to pages that will likely never be created and are clearly not-notable. Created as part of a large swath of pages by a single user who created hundreds of poorly established pages to promote the sport. Has been tagged as having issues for nearly 7 years.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
