Hello, Dbattis3, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Notes

edit

Hi! I wanted to give you some notes. My main note is that you don't have any in-line citations, so it's hard to tell which source is backing up which claim. Also make sure to be careful of sources - for example, a blog may not undergo vigorous editorial oversight before it's published. The Atlantic Council's website states that the views in the blogs are the author's own, which can be a sign that they aren't going to verify the claims like say, an academic or scholarly journal would prior to publication. They may look for grammatical and spelling errors, or to see that there aren't any glaring issues, but they aren't going to check the claims offhand, which is very important for a reliable source. Sometimes these sources can be seen as reliable however, if they're routinely cited as a reliable source by authoritative, reliable sources. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 16:39, 10 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm JPxG. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Don Imus have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Thanks. jp×g 01:12, 23 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
