Use of lower quality sources

For what it's worth I think your idea about using lesser sources to help establish weight in some cases was a good idea. I'm not surprised it failed. I think many of the arguments against were effectively strawmen which conflated simply allowing facts taken from low quality sources with, in effect, only using the secondary source as a means to establish WEIGHT. Things like WP:V would have to be met as well. I made this argument recently and was given more than a reasonable amount of flak for it. Springee (talk) 13:19, 11 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
