Fair use rationale for File:Sayat Nova.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Sayat Nova.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 19:37, 3 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Sayat Nova.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Sayat Nova.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

AfD nomination of Demands for Armenian Genocide reparations

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Demands for Armenian Genocide reparations. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Demands for Armenian Genocide reparations. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:04, 12 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Demands for Armenian Genocide reparations

Read my page befor acting, pls! Aregakn (talk) 02:43, 12 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Keep the good work! It is important that you now keep the info exact and from reliable sources. Make only neutral statements and facts you can find on the reliable sources. But don't overdo :) Aregakn (talk) 06:35, 12 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
Thanks! Other potential sections that could be soon added are about the recent conference in Turkey, about various organizations such as the ARF that pursue reparations, etc. --Davo88 (talk) 06:44, 12 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

I think it's also time to....

Hey, I think it is also time to bring it to the life of Turkish article readers. I've made some edits on the article of Turkey. Sometimes they are inappropriately deleted, though... Have a look if you have something to add, but we just neet to keep it short in that article. The most part of this edit are the references and quotations, so don't be afraid :) [1]. Looking for assistance in Armenian

Hi. :) I'm trying to find an active contributor who speaks Armenian to help make sure that a gentleman understands our policy on Wikipedia:Sock puppetry. He was indefinitely blocked for copyright violations (not sure he understands WP:C, either) under his first account, but doesn't seem to understand that his account was blocked or why. He's on his third account that I know of, which I've just blocked again with a suggestion that he appeal his block at his first account. I believe he is contributing in good faith, though the repeated copyright violations (he's made them under all three accounts) are a bit frustrating.

Would it be possible for you to drop a note for User:Henmor perhaps explaining the situation in Armenian and how he might appeal his block? I would be most grateful. :) If you can't assist or would prefer not to, please let me know, and I'll continue my search. Thanks! --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:11, 5 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much! I greatly appreciate your assistance. :) Please let me know if there's anything I can do on this end. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 00:14, 6 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Reinserted Info

Hiya Davo88, I have reinserted that Info Here. As a neutral uneducated, I am kind of trying to find my way around the subject so i may not get it right first time! CyrilThePig4 (talk) 07:41, 15 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Your edit

Could tou please explain each of the change you made in your edit or was it support for Lida? Why did you remove the source? It looks like violation of rules. --Quantum666 (talk) 05:06, 26 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Let's see the source: Intense skirmishes between Armenian and Azerbaijani forces around the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh continued on June 21. And you know that Armenian forces in Nagorno-Karabakh consist not only of NKR forces. This fact is not disputed.
You removed According to the Armenian Reporter, but didn't place any neutral (or Azerbaijani) source giving the same information. I mean that the way how Ibrahimov's body was seized by Armenians is described only by Armenian reporter.--Quantum666 (talk) 07:19, 26 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
Moreover the fact of occupation is recognized by UN, international organisations and other neutral sources. So it is not Azeri POV but the fact, that Armenians just don't want to recognize. --Quantum666 (talk) 07:25, 26 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
Your position about Armenian forces is clear for me, but the sources say what they say: Armenian forces and occupation. You cannot ignore them. And you haven't said anything about Armenian reporter. --Quantum666 (talk) 17:34, 26 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 01:38, 20 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
