Speedy deletion nomination of A Better Way edit

A tag has been placed on A Better Way, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 05:12, 23 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Your article is totally unsuitable for Wikipedia. This is an encyclopedia, not a place to post articles which we consider to be original research. Please note that this does not impugn the veracity of your article or its subject matter, but simply that Wikipedia policy prohibits original research of any sort, as well as essays and similar articles. Such articles may also be considered self-promotion, which is also prohibited. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 05:14, 23 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
It has nothing to do with formatting or anything like that. You are 1) publishing original research, 2) promoting yourself and your own work, and possibly 3) violating copyright laws, if this article does indeed appear in another publication. Wikipedia policies strictly prohibit all of these. There are proper places on the Internet for such articles, but Wikipedia isn't one of them. Sorry. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 06:46, 23 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

June 2010 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 06:46, 23 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Healing and Finding Peace Through Relationship Conflict, "A Better Way" edit

This is not an essay on my personal ideas but an article written to help individuals understand how relationship conflict can be used to heal stored emotional pain and fear to find inner feedom and peace. It uses well documented, non dualistic, ancient wisdom, wisdom well represented in Buddhism along with more recent publications like "A Course In Miracles" and Gary Renard's, "The Disappearance Of The Universe." There is no new wisdom, just new statements of ancient truth for each generation. With a world engulfed in war and conflict between individuals, gangs, tribes and countries, it is difficult for me to understand how this well researched and documented article on finding "A Better Way" to deal with interpersonal conflict can be deleted as personal opinion and not relevent to the current broader needs and interests of your readers. Few people who read "A Course In Miracles," understand its broader wisdom and fewer still involved in relationships of any kind understand they are at war with projections that are in fact themselves. Fewer still appreciate how to heal the wounds and fears that these relationship projections activate or reflect. This very timely article addresses all these questions well. It is a well documented article on "Gaining Healing and Peace Through Relationship Conflict." This topic, in my opinion, belongs in every encyclopedia under topics like Relationship Conflict, Healing Pain and Fear, Finding Peace, Projection, Waking From The Dream, etc.

David Ott, M.Ed.

Unfortunately "an article written to help individuals" is not consistent with Wikipedia's inclusion criteria, which are to do with substantial coverage in reliable sources independent of the subject. In addition, the article was clearly intended to promote a certain view, which is contrary to Wikipedia policy. JamesBWatson (talk) 08:23, 23 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
