Walt Disney World Railroad

Your recent edits to the Walt Disney World Railroad article where one of the images was changed have been reverted. The point of this image is to show how Fantasyland Station looked in its previous form, which leads to the next image you see where the station in its current form is shown. Jackdude101 talk cont 17:08, 21 April 2018 (UTC)

Your edits today were reverted, as the source you used is a forum, which are not suitable for any article, let alone featured articles. Jackdude101 talk cont 17:58, 11 September 2018 (UTC)
I should also add that you need not concern yourself with looking for ways to tinker with this article for the sake of tinkering. It has already gone through extensive vetting processes during its good article and featured article nominations, where every space and comma were scrutinized. Instead, I recommend tinkering with similar articles that have not reached good article status or higher. The article for the Walt Disney World Monorail, for instance, is one that needs a lot of attention and one whose improved quality will be appreciated by many. Jackdude101 talk cont 19:22, 11 September 2018 (UTC)
I'll make sure that all takes place. Thanks.—Davidng913 (talk) 19:28, 11 September 2018 (UTC)

Edit summaries

Again, please use edit summaries. It really helps us save a lot of time. Many thanks, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 02:00, 14 May 2018 (UTC)

Agreed! Thanks so much for your helpful edits, but I was just about to post this here. –Daybeers (talk) 22:25, 18 May 2018 (UTC)

Please use edit summaries in your edits. Thanks! –Daybeers (talk) 15:03, 1 June 2018 (UTC)

Let me add to the chorus; I'd really appreciate it if you used edit summaries. Mackensen (talk) 02:53, 3 June 2018 (UTC)

I know, sometimes I'm that idiot that forgets everything.—Davidng913 (talk) 02:55, 3 June 2018 (UTC)

If you'd like, you can go to the Editing section of your Preferences, and under "Editor", click the box next to "Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary." That way, when you click the "Publish Changes" button on a page without providing an edit summary, the editor will just reload with a notice to provide one. –Daybeers (talk) 08:41, 3 June 2018 (UTC)

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:14, 8 June 2018 (UTC)

I am very frustrated at your persistent refusal to use edit summaries. How are other editors supposed to understand what you are doing if you refuse to explain it? Pi.1415926535 (talk) 04:52, 4 February 2020 (UTC)

Your most recent edit on BMT Broadway Line rollbacked

Hello, I rollbacked your edit that removed the image due to the fact that more images were requested for the article. The image fit fine with the explanation of the route and is needed for its soon to come GA review. Thank you for your good faith edit. AmericanAir88 (talk) 16:45, 17 July 2018 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for August 11

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited EMD GP40-based passenger locomotives, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hartford station (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:04, 11 August 2018 (UTC)

Disneyland Railroad

I researched the info you added regarding the name WED Locomotive Works, and according to The Disneyland Railroad: A Complete History in Words and Pictures by Steve DeGaetano on page 119, that name is a fictional name created by Disney Imagineers in 2005. This is not the first time that Disney has created misleading info for its trains. The locomotives of the Wildlife Express Train, for example, have boiler plates indicating that they were built by Beyer, Peacock and Company in 1926, which of course is a flat-out lie. Jackdude101 talk cont 22:58, 24 September 2018 (UTC)

True dude. Thanks for reverting the edits. The WED Locomotive Works thing came from the builders' plate on the C. K. Holliday and E. P. Ripley. However, it is indeed better to credit them as WED Enterprises since that is the real name. But my goodness. The builder's plates of the Wildlife Express should say Horwich Works because they are the builders of the original steam-powered version of the locomotives. Or simply just say Severn Lamb and everyone will be happy. -Davidng913 (talk) 23:42, 24 September 2018 (UTC)
