Proposed deletion of Chris Raucci edit

The article Chris Raucci has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no indication of meeting WP:notability guidelines. While references have been given, they are either not WP:significant coverage of Raucci or are not independent. Google searches not finding any more significant coverage.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. noq (talk) 16:20, 18 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Edit summaries edit

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing →   Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks -Fnlayson (talk) 14:37, 3 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for December 3 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Roger Waters, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Brazilian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:26, 3 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Asbury Water Authority edit

Hello Davidmith,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Asbury Water Authority for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

A page you started (Students for Fair Admissions) has been reviewed! edit

Thanks for creating Students for Fair Admissions.

I have just reviewed the page, as a part of our page curation process.

Thanks for your new article on Students for Fair Admissions. I recommend some more sources from independent news media that cover the organization, because right now the article is a little too dependent on the organization's own self-promotional websites. Good luck.

To reply, leave a comment here and ping me.

Speedy deletion nomination of Eugène Dieudonné edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Eugène Dieudonné requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Liz Read! André Soudy moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, André Soudy, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. A page you started (Project on Fair Representation) has been reviewed! edit

Thanks for creating Project on Fair Representation.

I have just reviewed the page, as a part of our page curation process and note that:-

This article lacks substantial secondary, reliable sourcing independent of Edward Blum for its own article. In addition, the text on this page is identical to text found on his wiki. As such, it has been redirected to Edward Blum (ligitant).

To reply, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Citrivescence}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ .

Proposed deletion of Firmware as a Service edit

The article Firmware as a Service has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

There is no reason to cover this separately from Project Mu, as it is exclusively used in promotional material for Project Mu, a subject which may not even meet notability guidelines itself. Relevant guidelines include WP:GNG, WP:NEOLOGISM.

In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. signed, Rosguill talk 00:31, 24 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:André Soudy edit

Hello, Davidmith. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "André Soudy".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. CptViraj (📧) 16:43, 20 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
