Hello, I'm Tarl N.. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Timeline of United States history (1970–1989), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Aside from the lack of citations, the timelines of the smurfs simply doesn't rise to the level of meaning to enter the U.S. History timeline. Tarl N. (discuss) 22:15, 16 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Corruption in Syria moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Corruption in Syria, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Ways to improve Ferrari penalty controversy

edit

Hello, Davide Buttau,

Thank you for creating Ferrari penalty controversy.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Please add references and inline citations to the article. It is best practice to do that before uploading the article to main space. Use MOS:CITE as a guide for adding references and citations

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Bruxton}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Proposed deletion of Ferrari penalty controversy

edit

The article Ferrari penalty controversy has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence that this is independently notable to the event (2019 Canadian Grand Prix) or that there is need for an article split for some other reason.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. October 2022

edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours has an edit summary that appears to be inadequate, inaccurate, or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Feel free to use the sandbox to make test edits. You've already been repeatedly warned about this. If you don't stop this inappropriate behaviour, it will be reported. Edit summaries

edit

Hi - edit summaries are there for a purpose. Your edit summaries look like those used by vandals. Your edits don't appear to be vandalism, but using edit summaries like that draws attention to the edits, and will result in multiple editors looking at your contribs - that is a waste of our most valuable resource, our volunteers' time. Your summary doesn't have to be verbose, but it should be meaningful - 'add sidebar' would be sufficient. If you continue to type nonsense, your account may be blocked for disruption. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 12 hours for persistently making disruptive edits. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Girth Summit (blether) 13:07, 11 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
Since you ignored my warning above, and those left by multiple other editors, I've blocked this account. This is a short block, and if you agree to stop using nonsense edit summaries, I will lift it. If you resume doing so after the block expires, the next block may be indefinite. Best Girth Summit (blether) 13:08, 11 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
WP:SIDEBAR: Navigation templates are particularly useful for a small, well-defined group of articles; revolutions obviously do not qualify, and sidebars are particularly intrusive navigation tool that should be used with care. Users will hardly navigate between unrelated revolutions from different periods. Should anyone want to do that, they can peruse Category:Revolutions. I reverted your recent edits adding {{Revolution sidebar}} to pretty much every article out there. No such user (talk) 15:36, 11 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Girth Summit, it appears Davide Buttau insists on continuing with said behaviour following the block. --Paul_012 (talk) 15:36, 13 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

hey girth summit, i'm sorry for that. can you please unblock me? Davide Buttau (talk) 08:54, 14 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Deletion discussion about Ahmadiyya in Bahrain

edit

Hello, Davide Buttau, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username Red-tailed hawk, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Ahmadiyya in Bahrain, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ahmadiyya in Bahrain.

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Red-tailed hawk}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!
