Thanks for stating the conflict of interest. The page debate is looking like it will close as a no consensus. A suggestion is to put a copy of the article in your sandbox in case it is deleted and invite NZ project editors to add to it till Edward reaches a clear notability level. Also, one of the way to manage a COI is to have an independent editor assess the information you are wanting to add. Hope this helps. NealeFamily (talk) 22:32, 26 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thank you, I have taken your advice. Any help you can give tiding up would be appreciated.

Many thanks NealFamily, you have been a great help. DC

Hi David - first a bit of admin work - if you select the User page tab at the top of this page - create yourself a user page.

I will take a look at the referencing and the article to see what I can do to improve it. Also, what I have done in the past for a couple of editors where conflicts of interest are involved is to get them to create the content they want added in their sandpit and then when it is up to standard, having verified it from external sources, moved it into the article for them. This allows an independent assessment and takes it out of the conflict of interest zone. The main thing is to have good independent referencing for any statements made, which can be difficult at times. NealeFamily (talk) 22:00, 30 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Do you have any sources/articles relating to his creation of the training programme. It needs beefing up in its references.NealeFamily (talk) 00:26, 3 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Where did the Prime Minister comments come from? They are one of the strong points in the notability argument if they can be established. NealeFamily (talk) 22:29, 3 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of George Grey Science Scholarship

edit

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on George Grey Science Scholarship, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an acceptable page. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this page is not blatant advertising,  . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You are welcome to edit the page to fix this problem, but please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. As well as removing promotional phrasing, it helps to add factual encyclopaedic information to the page, and add citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the page will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NHCLS (talk) 00:08, 24 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
