Hello, Davehoward63, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited appears to be an article about yourself. Writing about yourself is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians.

As this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. We require individuals to meet Wikipedia's definition of a notable person to accept articles about them. A page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to or change it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Hi Jimfbleak
Thank you for being a helpful and ethical part of Wikipedia.
I know about the rules regarding "about yourself" "Notable person" and so on. My DRAFT was solely for the purpose of providing a wireframe for an actual editor to help me. You see, I am at least as notable as The Dave Howard Singers, Roomful of Blues and Gregory Page (musician). I often get confused with them or associated with them. In fact, I have missing royalty payments that were made to Dave Howard & The High Rollers, Dave Howard and Dave Howard for songs I have written with A. J. Croce and others. I've also received royalties that should have gone to them. I'm a three-time nominee for the San Diego Music Awards and have had multiple articles published about my music and performances in major publications like the San Diego Union-Tribune, Los Angeles Times, etc. My songs have been covered live and on record more than any other San Diego songwriter, with the exception. of Jack Tempchin. You can clearly see the confusion and erroneous enmeshment HERE. So, you see, I need to be on a par with peers who are already published and get some differentiation because it is inaccurate and untruthful to associate those other "Dave Howards" with me, or vice versa. If you don't want me to sandbox in Wikipedia, just give me my content back and I'll look for a Wikipedian outside of Wikipedia. I'm not trying to muddy the holy water of the encyclopedia. I just want equity. Davehoward63 (talk) 16:21, 17 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
