Hello Dave! I actually disagree with that comment about lack of context. A more fundamental issue is that some editors think the topic is a minor point and doesn't need its own article (see Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Martial_arts#Input_requested_at_Draft:Sword-grip_and_scabbard-grip). I'm inclined to agree. For knives we already have icepick grip and Knife fight#knife grips, and for swords surely the scabbard grip must be pretty rare, right? I recommend finding an article to merge this content into - maybe Hilt#Grip, Kendo, or Chinese swordsmanship. Does that make sense? --Cerebellum (talk) 18:25, 11 October 2014 (UTC)
