Your recent edits edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 12:13, 6 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

August 2015 edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at The Amazing World of Gumball (season 3), you may be blocked from editing. EvergreenFir (talk) Please {{re}} 01:24, 7 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

You are wrong and you must stop removing names from the writing credits. I have seen written confirmation from both the Gumball Production company and the broadcaster the Cartoon Network that all the incorrect early versions of the Money that had the wrong writing credit list have been pulled and the correct credits - including the name which you keep bizarrely removing - are shown in the US broadcast version. My source is the show itself - what is your source? Where are you getting your (wrong) information from? Dashdotdash (talk) 02:35, 7 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

A kitten for you! edit

I was indeed wrong about the credits. Good job being persistent about it. In the future, giving a screen cap or something similar would definitely help. Any sort of proof other than your word alone. But for a new editor, well done standing up to us old editors when you knew you were correct. And, of course, my apologies.

June 2021 edit

Hello, I'm Wizzito. I noticed that you recently removed content from The Amazing World of Gumball (season 3) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. wizzito | say hello! 02:35, 25 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi, can you tell me what you thought was wrong? --Dashdotdash (talk) 10:31, 10 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

September 2021 edit

Please stop attacking other editors. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Acroterion (talk) 01:36, 10 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for making personal attacks towards other editors. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Acroterion (talk) 20:21, 10 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
Disagreement with you over an important distinction in terminology does not make another editor a Nazi sympathizer. Any repetition of that kind of abuse will result in an indefinite block. Acroterion (talk) 20:23, 10 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Minimisation of the numbers of victims IS a form of Holocaust denial as this article by United States Holocaust Memorial Museum clearly sets out. [1] I used the term precisely and accurately as your page contains figures which are a fraction of the truth - as I proved with figures from one of the most respected sources in the world. The reduced figures on your page are unsourced entirely. It's not about "terminology" - it's about the hard facts of the Holocaust. You should not be blocking people who are giving you obviously verified corrections or trying to outlaw the precise use of the term Holocaust Denial. It is clear you are going to go on protecting these unsources numbers - I think this is turning into a real scandal. You need to make an argument about the numbers with citations, and if you can't (which it appears you can't) you need to take them down, sharpish. Dashdotdash (talk) 14:32, 11 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

When you're in a hole, stop digging. Referring to other editors as holocaust deniers is a personal attack. Referring to other editors as Nazi sympathizers is a gross personal attack. I'm surprised you're only blocked for 72 hours. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 15:12, 11 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

@Jpgordon: Based on their previous edits (from five years ago), this editor still appears to be rather young, and it may be that the full horror of the Holocaust is new to them, so I cut them a break on that basis. Acroterion (talk) 15:57, 11 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Neither of you has stated the source of these reduced figures. Making personal insults about me will not hide that fact. Dashdotdash (talk) 22:01, 11 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

This does not address your personal attacks nor does it provide assurance that this behavior will not repeat in the future. For this reason, I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 01:28, 12 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

The immediate issue is your unacceptable conduct - you were welcome to politely discuss the distinctions between concentration camps and extermination camps and the tolls in human lives associated with them, using sources, after reviewing the extensive discussions that have been had over the past twenty years, but instead you went straight into gross disparagement of other editors. Administrators do not adjudicate content, they deal with behavior. Please address yours. Acroterion (talk) 22:09, 11 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Your conduct is unacceptable. Dashdotdash (talk) 01:29, 14 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. What "legal threats"? I want you to substantiate this claim so that I can respond. I have no idea what you are talking about. Dashdotdash (talk) 10:51, 13 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

This is what we're talking about; you didn't fool anyone then and you aren't fooling anyone now. If you would consider making another request, I would strongly suggest you consider taking an entirely different tack, as if the next request affects the obliviousness this one does, it would be in my opinion time to revoke your talk page access. — Daniel Case (talk) 05:01, 15 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
