- Per your message at my talk page, I once again invite you to read our policies on WP:SPAM, Conflicts of Interest, and Reliable sources. Those other people you mentioned who are mentioned in the article did not add their own names to the article. If reliable sources exist to add you, I'm sure someone will get to it. Otherwise, you are adding COI spam to an article. Read the policies please. Heiro 06:19, 28 November 2010 (UTC)
- I just did a google search of your name to see if I could find any reliable sources to use to add you to the article, but nothing popped up in the first several pages. If I was you, I'd find reliable sources to support the claims you left at my talk page and leave a message and links to them at the talk page of the article Shell gorget for other editors to evaluate and add to the article if necessary. Continuing to add it yourself would not be advisable because of the COI problems. Heiro 06:27, 28 November 2010 (UTC)
Hey Dustin, you can't promote youself on wikipedia – it's a conflict on interest. You would be better off creating a blog about your work or adding yourself to artslant.com, saatchionline.com, deviantart.com, or the million other sites devoted to emerging artists. -Uyvsdi (talk) 06:43, 28 November 2010 (UTC)Uyvsdi
