Replaceable fair use Image:AvrilHoare.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:AvrilHoare.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 7 days after this notification, per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MER-C 07:15, 17 July 2007 (UTC)

Cork School of Music
Cork School of Music should not be merged with CIT because it has existed as an independent school far longer than it has been a department of CIT. Also CIT in itself is only really a third-level institute while Cork School of Music offers part-time music tuition to 1st level and 2nd level students. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Eoinsmiddy (talk • contribs) 11:29, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Small province 0.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Small province 0.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 05:40, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

i started on wiki
how did you set up all those great links on yer wiki page???? and is there a way to add a new page to wiki i wanted to start one on the history of my scout group and link it to the town Conor McCarthy —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mccacon (talk • contribs) 14:53, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
- Hey Conor, The best way to start is try and edit a few pages at a time to get the hang of it. Edit my page to see how it is made! Anyone can start a new page, just go to where you want it and it should give you instructions on how to create and start editing. As for the history of your scout group, there used to be a load of good artices about scout groups, but there was a decision made that they had no place in Wikipedia. Have a look at the 13/14th Dublin. Also look at the Kandersteg International Scout Centre page I've been working away on for a bit. I created that from scratch! Any more questions, don't hesitate to ask! ~ Ablaze (talk) 22:59, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
