new collaboration project edit

You'd you be interested in participating in a new Collaboration project that aims at translating good and featured articles in the French Wikipedia to English (much like the Spanish Translation of the Week)? I'm trying to see if there's enough users interested in this project before creating it. Thank you. CG 17:41, 14 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

re:Spoken Wikipedia edit

sorry i didn't know there was such a rule. i had always seen the template being listed at bottom (see Aruba and Black for example). i solved the problem with the whitespace by deleting the space between the img and the template so the text wraps correctly--Jiang 00:33, 5 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

French Collaboration Project edit

You showed support for the French Collaboration Project. This week Little boy was chosen to be translated from fr:Little boy. Hope you can help.

Based on a True Story edit

I reverted your edits to the Based on a True Story article, as you did not move the article, but copy its content to a new article. If you do it this way, the history is not transferred to the new article. HarryCane 18:42, 16 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Helengrad edit

Thought I should let you know. I have nominated Helengrad for deletion. If you wish for it to remain, then argue it here. --LeftyG 02:44, 25 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Re: My Warriors userbox edit

Apologies for that. I had changed the codes for every NRL userbox this morning, however, the categories associated with the boxes did not update at the time, and I had to remove and reinsert userboxes featured on userpages one by one. Unfortunately, I must have accidentally forgotten to reinsert the userbox on your page. I assure you this was a mistake, and you can check my contributions to see that this was only a single mistake from about a dozen box changes. Once again, my apologies. mdmanser 00:13, 4 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject Rugby League edit

Gday again, I see you're interested in Rugby League, so I would like to invite you to the WikiProject Rugby League, which aims to make Wikipedia the world's foremost reference on rugby league in terms of both quantity and, most of all, quality. If you're intersted in helping out, feel free to join at any time, and drop a note on my user talk page at any time if you may have any questions. Cheers, mdmanser 05:55, 17 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Image copyright problem with Image:YannWehrling.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:YannWehrling.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Hetar 04:42, 18 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Userboxes: A New Proposal edit

Hey, I've noticed that you've been active on the Userbox deletion page, either strongly FOR or AGAINST the use of the new T2 for deleting userboxes. I have noticed that most of the community is strong in their opinions on this issue; for that reason, I created my own proposal which attempts to create a middle ground for the two groups, and finally get this debate settled once and for all. I welcome your input into the proposal, as well as your (non-binding) vote on the straw poll. Thanks! // The True Sora 01:31, 20 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Invite to Join WikiProject for Spoken Wikipedia edit

Hi Darobsta! I am Galendalia and I have revived the WikiProject for Spoken Wikipedia. I noticed that you signed up at some point to be a participant and as I am reviving this project, one of my tasks is to get the participant list in order. Would you please go to the Participants List and add your name and language(s) you speak? If you are already there and do not want to be, please remove yourself. If you want to remain, please put remain next to your name. If I do not see anything, I will move you to the inactive participant list. I am putting a timeline of 7 days on this action to help keep things moving along. It would also be great if you would be willing to join the task force for Pronunciation that would be awesome, as there are troublesome words we run into.

Thank you for considering joining us. If you decide to leave, I will be sad   to see you leave as so many people have done a great job on the recordings and any work you have done makes a significant difference.

Mario Gangi moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Mario Gangi, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Concern regarding Draft:Mario Gangi edit

Hello, Darobsta. This is a bot-delivered message letting you know that Draft:Mario Gangi, a page you created, has not been edited in at least 5 months. Draft space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for article space.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion under CSD G13. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it. You may request userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occurred, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available here.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia. FireflyBot (talk) 21:04, 10 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:Mario Gangi edit

Hello, Darobsta. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Mario Gangi".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 21:05, 10 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
