Hi Darkdeath-2, and welcome to Wikipedia. Unfortunately enough finding specific Whatsapp groups is out of scope for Wikipedia, and we will not be able to help you. -- Asartea Talk | Contribs 13:32, 19 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please help me with...user page I dong kmow how my user page is supposed to look like . I am trying to make one but keep telling me error Darkdeath-2 (talk) 20:06, 20 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

It's not possible to help you to deal with the error unless you tell us exactly what the error is. However, my advice is to forget about making a user page until you have a significant amount of experience of contributing to the encyclopaedia, which is the purpose for being here. By then you will probably have a better idea about how to create a user page, if you still wish to. JBW (talk) 20:28, 20 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

  Technical news

  Arbitration

  • A motion has standardised the 500/30 (extended confirmed) restrictions placed by the Arbitration Committee. The standardised restriction is now listed in the Arbitration Committee's procedures.
  • Following the closure of the Iranian politics case, standard discretionary sanctions are authorized for all edits about, and all pages related to, post-1978 Iranian politics, broadly construed.
  • The Arbitration Committee encourages uninvolved administrators to use the discretionary sanctions procedure in topic areas where it is authorised to facilitate consensus in RfCs. This includes, but is not limited to, enforcing sectioned comments, word/diff limits and moratoriums on a particular topic from being brought in an RfC for up to a year.

  Miscellaneous

  • Editors have approved expanding the trial of Growth Features from 2% of new accounts to 25%, and the share of newcomers getting mentorship from 2% to 5%. Experienced editors are invited to add themselves to the mentor list.
  • The community consultation phase of the 2021 CheckUser and Oversight appointments process is open for editors to provide comments and ask questions to candidates.

November 2021 New Pages Patrol Backlog Drive

edit

Hello, Darkdeath-2. You signed up for the November 2021 New Pages Patrol Backlog Drive, but you are not a new page patroller. Per agreement between two drive coordinators, users should have new page patrol permissions in order to participate. Therefore, I have removed you from the list of participants. If you wish to become a new page patroller, you can request the permission at requests for permissions. Sincerely, Tol (talk | contribs) @ 20:51, 31 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Red dead redy

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Red dead redy, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

  • It is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. (See section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Wikipedia has standards for the minimum necessary information to be included in short articles; you can see these at Wikipedia:Stub. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. • The limit on the number of emails a user can send per day has been made global instead of per-wiki to help prevent abuse. (T293866)
