Disruptive editing

edit

Your recent edits [1][2][3][4] at 2015 in film are disruptive. There's no clear reason to include currency conversions into Indian rupees, but even if there were, you're going about it the wrong way. Since Wikipedia is a collaborative project, when you notice that content you've submitted has been reverted, you should open a discussion on the article's talk page to seek consensus for inclusion, not resubmit the same problematic content over and over again. This is disruptive. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:23, 2 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Diff: [5] Please don't make changes to box office gross values without providing new references that support your change. Note also that if there is a range of opinion (because Indian cinema gross numbers are estimates) please present the range of opinion instead of cherrypicking a number that sounds better to you. List of highest-grossing films

edit

You have made several edits at List of highest-grossing films, all of which have had to be reverted due to i) being incorrect; ii) being unsourced; iii) not being consistent with the established format. By all means feel free to update the article but please do so in a way that is consistent with WP:Verifiability and the formatting of the article. Betty Logan (talk) 21:04, 12 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

  • Further to this edit and this one at 2015 in film would you please enlighten us to where you sourced this data? This is not the first time you have changed box office totals on film articles and I would like to believe you are not deliberately introducing factual errors into articles. From now on please do not alter data without providing a source otherwise we will have to treat such edits as vandalism. Betty Logan (talk) 19:52, 18 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of S. L. B Films

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on S. L. B Films requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
