March 2015 edit

Hello, I'm LadyofShalott. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to John Green (author) because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks!   Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Dutch Australian. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. AussieLegend () 10:20, 18 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Recent edit to Hypatia edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you removed some content from Hypatia without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Apparent vandalism of Kentucky edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Kentucky, you may be blocked from editing. —BarrelProof (talk) 05:38, 27 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

In the Religion section of Kentucky, if you add up the percentages of various religious groups, the total comes out to be 117% and not 100% which is ridiculous. I tried to fix that and not vandalize. Thank you.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry for the mistaken impression, although if you had used a WP:Edit summary, this could have been prevented. Let's try to follow up on fixing that. —BarrelProof (talk) 20:21, 5 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Request to use edit summaries edit

Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to George Santayana does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! —BarrelProof (talk) 07:36, 27 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for August 24 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Sancharam (TV series), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Laza (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
