Thank you very much for your message regarding my creating/editing of the page for Benjamin Akira Tallamy. Though I do know Mr Tallamy personally and I had made a page about his activities in 2012 I have attempted to write the article "from a neutral point of view, representing significant views fairly, proportionately and without bias" as the linked page suggests. The page is created purely as I have seen other people that both Mr Tallamy and I know from his work with the folk music circle who also have wikipedia pages. Although not considered as successful as some of his peers, he has been a staple of the Exeter folk music scene for over 10 years and has a strong local fan base and has garnered praise for most of his work from local media such as the Express and Echo. The page will be updated over time with better detail as well as more links to his appearances in the media. The article will be unbiased as it is written purely as informational and is not to add any personal commentary onto Mr Tallamy.

If any part of the page is considered to be unbiased then I apologise for my editorial mistakes and ask that, rather than see the page taken down, that it is edited to maintain the facts previously stated from an outside perspective. Thank you.

The article is in draft at the moment. I recommend you read the guidelines, tidy it up a bit and then submit it for review. You aren't explicitly forbidden from writing about someone you know; it depends on the nature of your relationship with them (for example, if you were his manager, it would be frowned on; if you're just a fan who has met him once or twice, it would be acceptable). I have made an edit to the draft but I am unsure of how to submit it for review. Many thanks for your help.
