Culver-Stockton edit

edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! I just wanted to let you know that I reverted your edit because the new president shouldn't be in the Infobox quite yet. It makes it look like there wasn't a president before. If you'd like to put some info in the article somewhere down below about the new president, that would be better. I hope you continue to edit the Culver-Stockton article, and Wikipedia as well. Thanks, CorkythehornetfanTalk 02:51, 27 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the advice. I will soon update this article. Danncampbell (talk) 20:56, 2 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

George Mowry

edit

Dann,

It appears that you created the George E Mowry by copying and pasting the text from your browser page. Unfortunately, copying and pasting loses a lot. Now, none of the citations work anymore, and the article has no links - I've already fixed other problems, but fixing those two requires more knowledge of the topic. Is there an original page somewhere that you copied from? Thanks, Oiyarbepsy (talk) 14:56, 28 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

I see where the page came from User:Danncampbell/sandbox. I'll be glad to assist in properly moving that page into article space. (Oiyarbepsy, you might need to redo some of your edits to get them integrated.) —C.Fred (talk) 15:02, 28 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
My question is what title should the article get? Does he usually publish with his middle initial, or should it be styled just George Mowry? —C.Fred (talk) 15:06, 28 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
Based on a Google search of his works, I went with George E. Mowry. —C.Fred (talk) 15:13, 28 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

George Mowry

I moved it correctly to its own entry. But one of you could capitalize mowry that would be super. Do any of you know how to do the summary box? I was the raw data for it but don't know how to create it. Of course it may not be necessary. Danncampbell (talk) 13:35, 29 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

The article has been, and still is, at George E. Mowry. —C.Fred (talk) 13:58, 29 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of George mowry, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: George E. Mowry. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot (talk) 13:33, 29 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm C.Fred. I noticed that you recently removed some content from George E. Mowry without explaining why.
